What’s Changing
Starting 8th August 2025, Aquantuo’s shipping rates for USA and UK to Uganda will be updated. The new pricing tiers can be found here. The Buy-For-Me (BFM) service fee will be 7.5% of the order value. These changes will apply to all new bookings made on or after 8th August.
Why We Are Doing This
We know price changes are not welcome news, so transparency is our policy. Over the past few years, global shipping rates and import-related expenses have continued to rise, driven by factors like inflation and increased VAT costs.
Additionally, we are investing in a streamlined service: improved tracking, and a stronger support team to ensure you have the peace of mind you deserve. Adjusting our rates ensures we can continue offering reliable, all-inclusive international shipping experience.
How It Affects You
These changes will help us maintain time reliability and service quality while covering higher costs. For a typical shipment, you will calculate your new rate by weight.
Please remember that we include customs clearance in these rates, you will not see extra surprise fees. All mandatory import taxes (Uganda’s VAT, etc.) are covered by Aquantuo.
Delivery Times
Our transit time remains fast. We ship weekly from the USA, and you can expect delivery to your address within 2 to 3 weeks after payment has been made. We are ensuring consistent schedules, so your packages always arrive as you expect them to.
Payment: We recommend through our systems against your order ID.

Shipping for each mobile phone or tablet: $100
Shipping for each laptop: $200
Desktops attract a flat fee of $80 to cover taxes, in addition to standard shipping fees.

FAQ
Will my next shipment under the new rates be charged at the old or new price?
Your shipment will use whatever pricing is in effect on the date of order received confirmation.
If your order is scheduled for shipping before 8th August, you keep the old rate.
If you place a new shipment request on or after 8th August, the new shipping rates apply.
